ABOUT THE AUTHOR

James began writing as an 11-year-old sci-fi gamer, reading grand scope works of imperial science fiction.

His favorite authors include Poul Anderson, Isaac Asimov, Joe Haldeman, William H. Keith, Jr., Ursula K. Le Guin, H. Beam Piper, and E.C. Tubb. Inspired by those stories as a boy, James created his own worlds and adventures.

As an adult, he traveled around the world during nine years of U.S. Naval Service. After the Navy, he studied Astrophysics.

He strives to alloy real-world science, engineering, and technology into his space opera tales of the far future, and his advanced skill at world-building sets his work apart from his peers.

Now, James lives semi-retired in Thailand, intuitively writing space opera and creating worlds, characters, and mind-burning visions of the far future that he shares with a growing number of dedicated fans.
